Zirkonzahn has developed the Zirkonzahn.Mobile app. for smartphones and tablets that enables its CAD/CAM milling units to be remotely checked and controlled. This saves time, as the dental technician does not have to be present in the lab to monitor the milling process. If a problem occurs and milling stops, the user is informed immediately via push notifications. The Zirkonzahn.Mobile app displays at a glance which file is being milled, the current progress of the milling process and the remaining milling time. The app can be used with all common Zirkonzahn CAD/CAM milling units; furthermore the use of the application is not restricted to one device only - it is possible to check several milling units simultaneously, enabling contemporaneous monitoring. Apart from the progress of the milling process, the app displays other important information, such as percental display of the milling progress and the remaining milling time. Push notifications inform the user once the milling process has been completed. The app, which is available for Android and Apple IOS, also includes a Zirkonzahn homepage and webshop access.
