Rebilda Form is a new shaping aid that greatly simplifies adhesive core build-up with composite materials. Rebilda Form is used for building up severely decayed teeth with or without the use of a root post. The material can be quickly and simply adapted to the tooth being restored thanks to the shape of the cuff, the three practical sizes (small, medium, large) and the special design of the edge with its guide grooves. Moreover, Rebilda Form can easily be cut to the required length. After Rebilda Form has been adapted in size and length to the tooth to be built up, the tooth substance is prepared for the adhesive bonding technique. After the adhesive has been polymerised, Rebilda Form is placed on the stump and filled with composite build-up material (for example Rebilda DC). Rebilda Form can easily be removed after the build-up material has been cured by cutting the shaping aid along its length with a fine diamond bur with water cooling and then removing the material. The core build-up can then be prepared in the usual way.
