Like all addition cure lab putties, Silaform 90 is a 2-part 1:1 ratio putty. Being Shore A 90 means it is very ridged and has a high degree of accuracy as it has a near 100% positive lock if used as a key. Ideal for all precision work, it is especially good for those who use lab putty to separate teeth in flasks when processing dentures. The main reason is that addition cure putties become inert on curing; the activator does not leach out or break down with high heat and pressure that can cause problems with condensation cure putties. They are exceptionally clean and grease free, smooth and consistent to use. Being harder, not as much needs to be used so they can still work out to be economical. Also they can be shaped and trimmed with a handpiece so exact moulding can be achieved. Siladent from Germany has once again provided a high grade product. Available in 2 x 1.5kg and now also in the 2 x 9 kg value pack.
