Panthera Digital - Sleep Apnea Device
Dental Axess has successfully launched the Panthera Digital – Sleep Apnea Device (D-SAD) in Australia and New Zealand. The D-SAD is a solution to help control sleep apnoea and/or snoring. This innovative custom device is CAD/CAM manufactured from organic hydrophobic polymer using a laser sintering process. The lightweight homogeneous material offers minimal bulk and maximum patient comfort and compliance. The device consists of two retainers with interchangeable metal free rods allowing for gradual advancement of the lower jaw as required. The design of the appliance maintains advancement of the lower jaw without pressure on the incisor teeth while transferring forces on the horizontal plane. The D-SAD comes with a 5 year warranty.
