The NobelActive 3.0 dental implant was designed specifically for safe implant placement in areas with limited interdental space. Drawing on the success of the existing NobelActive implant body designed for high initial stability even in compromised bone, NobelActive 3.0 expands treatment options in the anterior zone. To ensure optimum fatigue strength, the NobelActive 3.0 is manufactured using Nobel Biocare’s proprietary commercially pure cold-worked Grade 4 Titanium. The fatigue strength of NobelActive 3.0 was tested according to ISO Standard 14801:2007, achieving torque strength of 160N. The innovative implant body design including apical drilling blades enables bone quantity to be preserved under preparation of the osteotomy in already compromised implant sites. The expanding central core and cutting threads allow for soft bone compression which further enhances primary stability. With built-in platform shifting and a tight conical seal, the NobelActive 3.0 will maximise soft tissue in aesthetically demanding cases.
