IPS e.max Press MT ingots are monochromatic ingots suitable for the press technique. They consist of the tried-and-tested lithium disilicate glass ceramic material, which features a flexural strength of 400 MPa. The new ingots of medium translucency range between the LT and HT ingots. The MT ingots are intended for restorations which require a higher level of translucency than LT restorations and a higher brightness level than HT restorations. Furthermore, the MT ingots are ideally suitable for fabricating restorations with the staining and cut-back technique. Due to their medium translucency, the MT ingots are recommended for veneers; partial crowns; crowns; and 3-unit bridges. The IPS e.max Press MT ingots are available in two sizes and multiple shades.
