Directa Luxator LX

Setting a new standard for atraumatic extraction, the Luxator LX from Directa in Sweden is a mechanical periotome that offers improved safety, precision and access. The reciprocating tip works in a vertical direction for secure cutting of the Sharpey’s fibres in a patient-friendly manner. The self-directing tip allows the periotome to follow the root surface, reducing the risk of bone damage. The Luxator LX offers optimal access for difficult to reach areas (molar, lingual/palatinal, distal) and its durable titanium coating allows it to glide easily into the socket and remain sharp. The new Luxator LX fits onto any electric handpiece and comes with short or long tips.
