BioHPP is a material based on PEEK (polyetheretherketone). Thanks to its excellent stability, optimal polishability and low plaque affinity, BioHPP is particularly well-suited for producing high-quality prosthetic restorations. The elasticity of the material, which lies within the range of bone, means it is able to compensate for the torsion of bone, particularly in the case of large implant cases. BioHPP was developed by renowned dental product and materials manufacturer Bredent Germany and was introduced at the IDS 2013 in Cologne. BioHPP is available in pressable pellets and CAD/CAM blocks to be milled in any open CAD/CAM System.
