BDT's Pre-Op Rinse is a clinical strength chlorine dioxide rinse designed to be offered to patients prior to any procedure. Chlorine dioxide is known to effectively destroy volatile sulphur compounds which cause bad breath. Using Pre-Op also assists in reducing bacterial load and microbial activity in the mouth that is shown to become aerosolised during treatment.
Pre-Op Rinse provides you, your staff and your patient with a better working environment and removes the unpleasantness associated with oral malodour.Offer the patient 20 ml (approx) of pre-op rinse in the chair, allow them a few seconds to rinse and then eject it into the spittoon.
The consumer version of this product is called Freshen.
