The combination of renowned international and national speakers and a highly multifaceted program arrives in Nice, the third stop of the four-city tour, following Tokyo and San Diego, welcoming over 1,000 delegates and 74 speakers and moderators.
"We are very excited to have this opportunity to meet our customers and to show them that we share the passion for implant dentistry. We want the World Summit Tour to be filled with inspiration, science and learning, and we are honored to welcome everyone here today as a part of the Dentsply Sirona family," says Lars Henrikson, Group Vice President, Dentsply Sirona Implants.
The theme of the World Summit Tour—Because inspiration and confidence matters—mirrors Dentsply Sirona Implants' dedication to improved oral health and enhanced quality of life for implant patients worldwide. Each tour stop is designed to inspire clinicians and researchers to share scientific knowledge and clinical experience and discover the latest developments in implant dentistry. By combining general sessions, hands-on workshops, and a choice of various parallel sessions, the program promises to deliver inspiration and education for all members of the treatment team.
The World Summit Tour also includes a Poster Competition in the two categories of Clinical Application and Research. Winners are selected by the Scientific Committee, consisting of Anne Benhamou, Denis Cecchinato, Hugo De Bruyn, Peter Gehrke, Stefan Hassfeld and Michael R. Norton.
Backed by sound science
Dentsply Sirona Implants products and solutions are supported by 2,000 scientific articles, proving excellent clinical long-term results. The implant systems—Ankylos, Astra Tech Implant System and Xive—are all backed by sound science. Ankylos has 20 years of documented follow-up, and Astra Tech Implant System and Xive each have more than 15 years of documented follow-up data.
For every treatment the right solution
Like no other company in the industry, Dentsply Sirona is able to provide end-to-end solutions that support the full implant treatment process—from planning to final restoration. Dental professionals can experience the variety of options during the World Summit Tour and address their questions to experts on site.
The implant treatment process contains many steps—from imaging and diagnosis, treatment planning and implant surgery to abutment selection, restorative solutions and patient follow-up. Dental professionals can rest assured that they have the support they need for the full implant treatment process to restore function, esthetics and confidence to their patients.
Atlantis® connectivity with CEREC® Omnicam
The upcoming integrated connectivity between Atlantis WebOrder and Sirona Connect SW will make the ordering of all Atlantis abutments solutions easily accessible for the CEREC Omnicam users. The digital impression is taken with either a ScanPost or an Atlantis IO FLO.
Atlantis® CustomBase solution
The Atlantis CustomBase solution combines an Atlantis Abutment and an Atlantis Crown with a screw access hole. The crown is cemented to the abutment extra orally and then all is screw-retained into the implant, avoiding potential complications caused by excess cement. The crown can be designed in the customer's own software by ordering a unique digital file, with the screw hole indicated. The Atlantis CustomBase solution is a premium, single-tooth, screw-retained solution providing patient-specific design of core height and optimized retention and design. This provides a result that replicates natural tooth function and esthetics.
mySimplant® Planning Service
With mySimplant Planning Service, computer guided implant treatment is now even easier and more affordable. mySimplant Planning Service enables clinicians to treat more patients with enhanced safety, and predictability. This new outsourcing service from Dentsply Sirona Implants gives clinicians the possibility to rely on an experienced partner to build and grow their business while still staying in control of the treatment planning, and most importantly, without compromising the treatment outcome.
The SmartFix® concept
SmartFix is a treatment concept that can provide edentulous patients with an immediate fixed, full-arch prosthesis, supported by only four implants. The SmartFix concept includes an angulated abutment that comes together with a short and flexible abutment holder for easier handling. The option of angulating the screw access channel through the prosthesis opens up for ideal esthetics and function. This concept is an easy and cost-effective treatment that offers improved treatment satisfaction for the patient and practice growth for the dental professional.
OsseoSpeed® Profile implants (Astra Tech Implant System)
The OsseoSpeed Profile EV implant (Astra Tech Implant System) is a uniquely shaped, patented implant specifically designed for sloped ridge situations. It is designed to follow the natural shape of the bone, supporting the soft tissue by preserving marginal bone 360 degrees around the implant. In addition, it can help to eliminate the need for bone augmentation procedures. Newly published results on OsseoSpeed Profile implants show bone preservation, increased soft tissue volume and regain of keratinized mucosa in patients with compromised soft tissue.
