The 5th Annual World Congress of Minimally Invasive Dentistry (Microdentistry) is being staged in San Francisco, California from August 11-14, 2004.
The World Congress was formed in December 1999 by dental practitioners, academics, and dental researchers from all over the globe.
Microdentistry is defined by the group as the evidence-based discipline dealing with oral hard and soft tissue-saving procedures, with the primary goal of improving the quality of life through lifelong optimal oral health.
The Congress will include a comprehensive scientific programme with a particular focus on laser dentistry. Lectures occur in the mornings, followed by a working lunch and optional hands on workshops from 2-5 pm that focus on current minimally invasive research, diagnosis, techniques and technologies.
The venue is the Renaissance Stanford Court Hotel (pictured), located in the heart of downtown San Francisco atop historic Nob Hill. The world-renowned Hotel sets a new standard in luxury accommodations, surrounding guests in world-class elegance with striking turn-of the century detail, fine antiques, a beauxarts fountain and a breathtaking lobby dome of Tiffany-style stained glass. Special room rates are available.
