William Green opens Queensland showroom

Australia's only manufacturer of dental units, Sydney-based William Green Pty Ltd, has opened a showroom in Queensland to cater to increased demand in the state.

"The demand for our Australian-made Tantus dental units is currently at unprecedented levels in Queensland," said Mr John Green, managing director of William Green. "We have always had a strong sales and support infrastructure in the state, where William Green has supplied nearly 1000 dental units into the Queensland public sector over the last 20 years, and we're now going that step further.

"The showroom is part of our overall growth strategy into the private sector throughout Australia where the market is more than ever demanding cost-effective fully featured, quality dental units with excellent reliability."

The new showroom is located within the offices of dental laser supplier High Tech Laser at Milton Shopping Centre, Baroona Road Milton. According to Mr Green, the showroom allows dentists to trial the Tantus dental unit at their leisure.

William Green Pty Ltd was established in 1946 by Mr William Green and now employs over 20 people. In 1996, the company's 50th anniversary year, a new manufacturing facility and warehouse was built at a cost of $1.3 million adjacent to the existing premises in the Sydney suburb of Rydalmere.

The Tantus is the company's flagship product and comes in a range of options including traditional and continental delivery systems, wall-, cabinet-mounted and cart options plus a full range of accessories.

William Green also distribute the Trophy range of digital and film intraoral and panoramic x-ray equipment and a range of other dental equipment products.
