VOCO lecture series backs scientific studies

German materials manufacturer, VOCO, has conducted a series of lectures around Australia on the advantages of using its premium Grandio universal nano-composite on the back of a new booklet containing numerous university studies the company has compiled.

"Our products have been continuing to grow in popularity as more and more dentists discover their unique properties," said Marc Banzer, Managing Director of VOCO Australia. "This empirical evidence of success is now backed up by a plethora of university-based scientific studies that will give our customers peace of mind."

VOCO's "Grandio/Grandio Flow Scientific Documentation" booklet is 40 pages of demonstrative graphics and easy to read text. Of particular interest is that the individual study results are not just provided; information about the respective measurement methods and the clinical relevance of the individual test criteria such as the modulus of elasticity, Vickers hardness, flexural strength and so on are also included.

The lecture series travelled to Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne and Perth in June and July with VOCO's chief international trainer and specialist in medical science, Thomas Wehner, travelling from Germany to present the program.

"We had a good response to the program in general," Mr Banzer said. "We received positive feedback about what we can do to support clinicians using our products and we will endeavour to tailor educational and other initiatives according for the future."
