VOCO expands further

Appointments and Promotions

VOCO has hired three new staff members across Australia to better meet the needs of their growing customer base, according to managing director, Marc Banzer.

Former SDI and Oral-B rep, Rose Turner, is now servicing customers in Western Australia, South Australia and the Northern Territory; Sharon Callaghan, formerly with Halas and Ridley Dental, will look after Victoria and Tasmania; and Ian Bedford has rejoined to manage the Queensland market. Mr Bedford has many years experience with companies including Dentsply, Commonwealth Dental, Ivoclar and most recently, W9. Thomas Wehner has also returned as area manager for Australia and New Zealand, working from VOCO's head office in Cuxhaven, Germany. Mr Wehner has just concluded an intensive two-week product training programme with all VOCO's local staff to ensure they are fully informed of the benefits and specifications of the company's existing product range as well as upcoming new releases. "I am very excited about the new team and the level of experience and expertise they bring with them," Mr Banzer said. "Combined with a number of innovative product releases at FDI Sydney 2003, including the new nano-composite, Grandio, the future is looking bright for VOCO in Australasia."
