VITA has launched an international design contest for its 2005 calendar and is inviting the dental profession to participate for a chance to win some great prizes.
While it is beyond any doubt that dentists and dental technicians require truly artistic skills to complete their daily work routine, VITA is inviting participants in the contest to convert dental art into true art.
According to the company, the successful results of the VITA Design Contest 2002 showed that creativity is abundant within the dental profession. Based on this success, the design contest for the VITA 2005 strip calendar has now been launched.
Under the theme "Teeth and Individuals" a calendar page (290 mm high x 150 mm wide) is to be designed by dentists, dental technicians or employees of dental suppliers. There are restrictions on the content of the image and the final submission can be in a conventional form (such as paint, chalk, etc) or in a digital design.
Participants may enter any number of times but must be received no later than 21 June 2004 at: Studio Laeis, Marienburger Str. 32, D-50968 Köln, Germany.
Each of the 14 winning participants will be awarded a prize of Euro 500 for their entry which will be published in 32,000 strip calendars worldwide. The judging panel, which consists of 14 independent members, will then select three entries from the 14 winners who will win a weekend in Geneva.
