Vale Nigel Bruce Ramsey

With great sadness, we must report that Mr Nigel Ramsey, who was well-known in the dental industry for his work with VITA Zahnfabrik for many years, recently passed away at age 59 following a serious illness.

"We came to know Mr Ramsey as a responsible and loyal employee who had always shown exemplary commitment to the company," read a statement from the management and employees of VITA-Zahnfabrik. "His high level of motivation, his pleasant manner and his complete identification with VITA made him a valued and respected representative of our brand in the local markets. The company has lost an outstanding employee and a good friend."

Mr Ramsey, had been working for VITA since June 1, 1996. At the beginning of his career, he was responsible for supporting and developing the local market in Australia. In close cooperation with the local distrubutors, he was able to strengthen and expand VITA's position in the market. From 2007 to 2010, he went to China to support the strong growth of VITA's local sales organization with his extensive expertise. Mid-2010, he returned to Australia, in charge of the Australian and New Zealand markets as Area Sales Manager, a role he held until he passed away.
