Update your handpiece to LED light

Handpiece sales superstore and repair centre, The Drill Guys, (formerly Strong Torque Dental), have launched a new range of kits to upgrade the light source in popular handpieces from halogen bulbs to LEDs for only $99.

"We've managed to source the best European conversion kits to give your handpiece or coupler LED lighting," said Jan Gray, managing director of The Drill Guys. " You simply remove the old bulb and insert the new LED and improve your handpiece illumination 100%.

"LEDs offera brighter white light and have a lifespan of 10,000 hours. There is no heat generation and installation is quick and easy.

"We have kits for Kavo style motors and turbines, NSK style turbines, Bien Air Style motors and turbines; W&H style motors and turbines and Sirona style turbines.

"Most handpiece manufacturers are using LED technology today because it is so advantageous and these third party kits allow owners of older models to update the light source easily and cost-effectively."
