Ultradent appoints Director of Clinical Affairs

Ultradent Products, Inc., has appointed Dr Jaleena Fischer Jessop as the company's Director of Clinical Affairs.

Of the promotion, Dirk Jeffs, president of Ultradent, said, "I am excited to have Dr Jessop at the helm of our Clinical Affairs department. Her rich clinical experience, drive to provide the highest standard of care for patients, and passion for Ultradent's vision of improving oral health globally will enable Ultradent to continue to offer solutions that are driven from clinical insights for many years into the future." As the director of clinical affairs, Dr Jessop, a practising dentist, will oversee all phases of product development to ensure that the clinician's point of view is considered in every aspect. Additionally, Dr Jessop will head a new clinical team at Ultradent that will work with other departments to ensure clinical input and accuracy in every area of the company. Dr Jessop will also continue to work in her dental practice three days a week, applying her hands-on clinical experience to her work at Ultradent, as well as an an adjunct professor at the University of Utah Dental School.
