Topacal and Dentacal now available at pharmacies

NSI Dental's popular Topacal enamel improving cream and Dentacal mouth moistener recently received endorsement from the Pharmacy Guild of Australia and are increasingly available from pharmacies in all states.

Topacal enamel improving cream assists in preventing demineralisation and in increasing remineralisation. As such, it is suitable for patients with erosion, rampant caries, white lesions after orthodontic braces or those with an acidic oral environment caused by dietary intake, poor oral hygiene, environmental exposure or medical condition.

Loss of salivary flow not only gives a patient an uncomfortable dry mouth making it difficult to eat, speak and sleep but it also almost always leads to major dental problems. Dentacal mouth moistener has been shown to be an excellent oral lubricant and its pleasant non-oily taste is welcomed by patients. Importantly, it contains the same active ingredient as Topacal and thus not only soothes, moistens and freshens the mouth but it also helps prevent tooth decay.

Dentists will still be able to buy the products from their usual dental distributor but will also be able to simply recommend that their patients use the products after buying them at their local pharmacy.
