Local software identity and Sydney dentist, Dr Frank Papadopoulos of dental4windows fame has been genuinely encouraged by the uptake of their latest product Media Suite.
According to Dr Papadopoulos, they have sold almost twice as many licences as expected to the new system for managing all types of x-rays and other images in the nine months since its launch.
A recent User Survey of practices running the Media Suite digital imaging module of dental4windows gave it an extremely positive review with 86% of respondents indicating us they found the module easy to use. This result is particularly encouraging since 53% of all Media Suite users had not used a digital imaging software package in their surgery prior to Media Suite being installed.
Dr Naomi Hollander of Integrated Dental Care in Victoria said "I have Schick sensors; a Soredex OPG; an Anthos Intraoral camera and a Nikon digital camera, which I use for still images. I now use Media Suite to manage all of these image in the one program and I find it better than any of the other digital imaging applications I have used."
The overwhelming majority of users have their digital images linked to dental4windows Patient Charting, which clearly improves the dentists surgery workflow procedures whilst working with patients.
"What this means for the many practices still not utilising digital imaging technology is that investing in dental4windows practice management software now will ensure an easy transition to any new imaging platforms in the future," he said.
Dr Papadopoulos also confidently pointed out that since Centaur Software have been supplying digital imaging equipment, all their own dental4windows users plus many more practices around Australia have benefited.
"They have benefited from the expertise and customer commitment our company has and demonstrates in the integration of imaging equipment into the dental surgery environment," Dr Papadopoulos said. "Our team's high level of experience covers such areas as image acquisition, image manipulation and enhancement through to all the potential hardware issues such as the appropriate drivers; systems compatibility; the type of imaging device most appropriate to practice needs and much more.
"The dental4windows team members in sales, training and
support are all very committed to seeing our customers maximise the benefits available from a totally integrated system solution within their practice.
"Any of our customers will tell you, our company is extremely committed to customer satisfaction, which is why we go to considerable lengths to survey users about the functionality, workflow and the ease of use of dental4windows. Of course we have the distinct advantage of continually developing and testing dental4windows and it's modules with first hand clinical experience but also the experience and many ongoing suggestions and ideas from our ever increasing customer base of over 1500 practice sites around Australia."
