Sybron Implants Solutions expands team, premises and products

Sybron Dental Specialties has completed integrating the operations of Innova Oraltronics following its acquisition two years ago. Now known as Sybron Implant Solutions, the company has relocated to the Sybron's facilities in North Ryde, Sydney alongside Kerr, Ormco and SybronEndo.

"Sybron Implant Solutions will be offering all the same great products from Innova and Oraltronics that dentists know and trust, however almost every other aspect of the business has changed," said Mr Hernan Silva, general manager of the Australian and New Zealand operations. "Our name change reflects our association with the other 'household' names under the Sybron umbrella as well as the broader Danaher group of dental companies which includes KaVo, i-CAT, Dexis and Gendex.

"We have also formed a new team of specialists to help deliver our vision of providing gold standard products and service to the dental profession."

Apart from heading the local business, Mr Silva is also responsible for the Qld/NT territory. He has over 20 years industry experience with the Sybron group.

Joining him as Senior Territory Manager for NSW/ACT is Mr Grant Pike who has been with Kerr Australia for 14 years with three years as National Sales Manager. Mr Scott Hogan has also joined the company as Territory Manager for VIC/SA.

"A strong 'customer focused' attitude is extremely high on our agenda," Mr Silva said, "and a new customer service and technical support team have also been appointed. Ms Reena Rashoo is looking after customer service while Ms Monique Bambagiotti has been appointed Technical Support Manager.

"The latter role has been created to ensure that Sybron Implant Solutions customers can be guaranteed service and support 'second to none'. Ms Bambagiotti's focus will also be to provide assistance and training for the entire dental team."

"We're also about to launch the new SybronPRO™ Series range of implants which will compliment our existing Endopore®, Entegra® and Pitt-Easy® implants," Mr Silva said. "Innovative features of this new system include both tissue level and crestal level implants, platform switching, micro grooves, coronal flare and interchangeable abutments.

"All in all, it's an exciting time for us with a great range of products, a great team and fantastic support from one of the world's largest dental companies."
