The Australian Institute of Export has recognized Sydney-based Stoneglass Industries for its excellence and innovation as a dental technology exporter in the "Information and Communications Technology" category at this year's "Premier's NSW Export Awards".
The AIE noted Stoneglass's success in exporting their multiple technologies for automating processes that dental laboratories use to produce customised products for dental implants. The company's rapid export growth of proprietary technology in recent years added to the company's strong finalist placing. Attended by some 185 companies, this year's finalist event was held on October 28 in the Grand Ballroom at Star City in Sydney. The Honorable Kristina Keneally, Premier of New South Wales, was the event's Guest of Honour and Helen Dalley was the evening's Master of Ceremonies. Stoneglass CEO and Managing Director, Mr Georges Sara accompanied by Mrs Sayde Sara, attended the finalist event representing the entire Stoneglass team. "It was a very proud moment for me, my family and everyone who works so hard to make Stoneglass the special company that it is, here and abroad," Mr Sara said. "It's fantastic to have a National organization like the AIE recognize our accomplishments, especially amongst the incredible depth of companies and talent in the competition this year". Top honours in the category were taken out by Atlassian Corporation.
