SmileCard launches in Adelaide

Dental Financial Services (DFS) has launched its new SmileCard™ patient finance system at the Adelaide Congress.

"We were delighted with the response to SmileCard," said Carl Burroughs, founder of Dental Financial Services. "It seems that the time for patient finance has truly arrived.

"We had over 200 of the delegates take up our 'Dental Only' patient finance facility and have had many more inquiries since the show. With speakers at the Congress promoting the benefits of patient finance, I think many dentists have started to really think how another payment system in their practice would give their patient's more choice. Using SmileCard, for example, will both help treatment plan acceptance and have a positive effects on cash flow.

"We received many complements from delegates about the amount of thought that had gone into creating a dental only solution and how our product was supporting the profession. The other aspect of SmileCard's popularity was the fact that it costs the practice nothing to use, which at a time of eroding margins, was welcomed."
