Pure Lightness, Craft & Origin, History & Innovation and Color & Joy ‒ the names of the four new design lines from Sirona give away the emotions that could be evoked. And that is exactly the point: to make the individual design of a practice room come alive emotionally. The design worlds allow the practice's owner to customize the set-up according their taste and preferences, since the design of the workplace is not just its visual appearance, it also supports functionality by means of special materials and surfaces, and represents the atmosphere of the practice with its color combination. Whether striking features or minimalist accents, the furnishings of a practice reflect how the dentists and assistants who work there see themselves.
"Dentistry is being increasingly linked to aesthetic requirements and quality of life," explains Susanne Schmidinger, Head of Product Management for Treatment Centers at Sirona. "A modern, well-thought-out design captures this, without losing sight of the original purpose of offering high-quality dentistry. I am convinced that both the practice and team benefit from an individual design."
Four Worlds of Colors and Materials/h3>
Classic purists will be able to identify with the "Pure Lightness" line. This design focuses on the essentials: the language is clear and reduced, yet expressive. The treatment center communicates a high technical standard without being excessive. The interesting mix of delicate forms, soft wood tones and fresh color accents blend harmoniously with understated white and gray nuances, thereby creating a natural ambiance of well-being.
The "Craft & Origin" line brings many colors into play. Strong, vibrant red wine, dark blue and earth tones give an overall impression of creativity. Natural, robust materials represent practical craftsmanship based on long-standing experience. The warm atmosphere creates trust and conveys a feeling of being in good hands.
Classical elements and ultramodern design meet in the "History & Innovation" line. Exclusive and exceptional are key characteristics here: the dental practice shows that it knows how to combine historical, elegant elements with high-tech equipment.
Lively, extravagant and striking describe the "Color & Joy" line. Strong colors such as red or orange and striking details alongside monochromatic areas characterize this style, conveying confidence, openness and emotionality. Here, individualism is not a cliché but a statement. Innovative, creative details are featured ‒ this practice radiates the passion and joy of the entire team.
Design World as a Photo Backdrop
Information about these design worlds is available at the Sirona stand at the IDS as well as in a brochure, which features and explains the four design lines in detail. Practice owners who want to offer patients more than just a functional place for dental procedures will find inspiration and examples here for how to display their treatment center.
As a special highlight, trade fair visitors also have the opportunity to have a professional photograph taken in this special atmosphere in front of a studio wall in the middle of the "Sirona Design World of Impressions" and receive a high-quality photo print. Upon request, this photo can also be made available digitally after the IDS. That way you can immediately see the fascinating effect that a practice designed in such a way can have, as well as how each individual stand visitor appears in the design world.
"Design has an immediate effect and not only for a treatment center. Yet it has to offer more than an appealing look," stresses Susanne Schmidinger. "Design is always a statement ‒ it makes a point about those that move within it and represents the atmosphere of the practice. If the design fits the practice, it increases the well-being of the practitioners and patients," says Schmidinger.
