For the second year in a row, Sirona's excellent human resources policy and very good working conditions have earned recognition in China. At an award ceremony in Shanghai on December 15, Sirona China received the prestigious award "Top Employer China 2015".
Each year, the Top Employers Institute honors excellent employers around the world. Important criteria are analyzed for the award in a multi-phase process, including excellent working conditions, promotion of talent and continuous development in human resources management. Sirona China received the exclusive "Top Employer China" award for the second year in a row. Daisy Zhang, Regional HR and Operations Manager Sirona South East Asia, accepted the award at the ceremony. "We are delighted to have won this award for the second year in a row. It shows that our commitment is being recognized and is also an additional motivational factor for our employees." Niels Plate, General Manager Sirona China is proud of the development: "Employee satisfaction is the basis for our success; this is why we find it important to have an excellent team, promote team spirit and offer excellent opportunities for development. Receiving this award again increases our attractiveness as an employer in China."
Successful as a global employer
In 2006, Sirona began to develop the business in Shanghai, China with just 30 employees. Today, eight years later, there are 190 employees working for the company in Shanghai, and what's more, the Sirona site in Hong Kong was opened in 2010.
