RGC 2K16 has it all: Recent graduates to descend on the Gold Coast in August

Events

Registrations are growing for the upcoming 2016 Australia and New Zealand Recent Graduates Conference - RGC 2K16 - being staged on Friday, August 12 and Saturday, August 13 at the brand new Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast.

"RGC 2K16 is the one event where recent graduates can come, share their experiences with their peers and hear top speakers impart their wisdom on a range of issues covering Endodontics, Pros, Implants, Sleep Medicine, Communications and Practice Management," said organiser Dr Jeffrey Kho. "It can be a jungle out there for new grads and finding education targeted at the right level can be difficult.

"The dynamics of being a recent graduate today is completely different to even a decade ago and the program at RGC 2K16 combines appropriate education from experts with a healthy social program combining everything from yoga on the beach to a 'Traffic Light' Cocktail Happy Hour and lots of prizes and giveaways."

Dr Kho encourages young dentists from all over Australia and New Zealand to register for RGC 2K16 and join the many others descending upon the Gold Coast this August to participate in the diverse educational programme that includes:

  • Specialist Periodontist, Dr Neil Latcham providing a Periodontist's Perspective on implant therapy;
  • Specialist Prosthodontist, Dr Tony Rotondo, speaking about veneers, composites and pros;
  • Specialist Orthodonist, Dr Derek Mahony, presenting on snoring, sleep and the importance of the airway;
  • Endodontics Troubleshooting 101 presented by Specialist Endodontist, Dr Mehdi Rahimi;
  • Dr Kho, who will speak about getting out of trouble and what to do when;
  • Practice management consultant, Kathy Metaxas will explain how to understand your patient; and
  • Special guest, Dr Misorang Natasha Seo from Korea, will present working outside the box.

"Well-respected leaders will share with you their secrets of success from the small stuff to the big issues - everything from start to finish," Dr Kho said. "This is the must attend event of the year for new graduates. You will walk away having had fun and thinking differently about your chosen profession."

The 2-day event is being staged at the magnificent, brand new Hilton Hotel Surfers Paradise on Queensland's Gold Coast and special accommodation packages are available.
