The full programme for the upcoming 20th International Quintessence Symposium in Dentistry is now available from Halas Dental and is also inserted in this edition of Australasian Dental Practice.

The symposium comprises two days of lectures followed by a day of workshops which allow participants to experience the future in restorative dentistry including aesthetics and endodontics.

The programme will again be held at the Sydney Convention Centre South, Darling Harbour, from 30 April - 2 May, 2004.

Scientific Chairman Professor Iven Klineberg said that the programme has been designed to benefit general dental practitioners and will bring an exciting message through lectures and half-day workshops devoted to topics of special importance and relevance to dental practice.

The programme will include developments in laser technology, CAD/CAM restorations, and predictable management of endodontic treatment, endo-perio lesions and the association of endodontic disease and systemic disease. In addition, optimising aesthetic restorations with bonded porcelain and new developments in local anaesthesia and its predictable applications will be presented.

Speakers presenting at Quintessence will include Professor Klineberg, Dr Glenn Weston, Dr Michael F Burrow, Dr Jeffrey William Hutter, Dr William H Leibenberg, Dr Galip Gurel, Professor Claude R Rufenacht, Dr Robert A Convissar, Professor Herbert Dumfahrt, Professor Ian Meyers, Dr Ed McLaren, Dr Mark Hochman and Dr Russell Giordano.
