Argibond has officially launched the new Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System to the Australian and New Zealand markets through a series of one day hands-on Authentic-Pulse training courses conducted by German Master Ceramist Joachim Weber.
The Pulse courses were structured to show the versatility of the System using the PFM material and the new exclusive InterFace® press technique combined with the most advanced ceramic fire and press furnace in the world today: the Zubler Vario-Press 300 with the exclusive i-press® system.
The course showed how versatile the Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System is; from PFM to Press + Layer to PTM® to InterFace to Zirconia system to the Alumina System.
The courses kicked off in Melbourne at the Argibond Technical Training Centre with full attendance at three courses run on consecutive days.
"We then travelled up to Australia's newest state-of-the-art dental teaching facility, Griffith University at SouthPort, Queensland for two more full courses," said Argibond's Jason Demko. "This facility is regarded as one of the best examples of a dental university in the world and an asset our dental technology industry should be proud of as an Australian world's first.
"After a great two days at Griffith, we headed down to Sydney to another very professional commercial/training laboratory built with views looking over Double Bay that make it very difficult to concentrate on whats at hand! Rob Dulieu graciously hosted us at his RWD Dental Image Laboratory for a further two days of Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System courses.
"We then went over to Adelaide to conduct to lectures for a large group of dentists followed by a lecture and dinner for the South Australian Dental Technitians' Association. This meeting was attended by 25+ dental technicians and several prosthodontists who wanted to learn more about the Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System and especially the new InterFace technique. All were impressed with what Pulse could do for their dentistry.
"A further three courses were then conducted in Auckland, New Zealand at the very professional Codentech and VIVA Ceramics Dental which again had fantastic views over Auckland and overall is a great training venue."
Mr Demko said that demand to attend the new Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System courses conducted over the 3-week period was so great that all courses were booked solid. Well over 85 dental technicians attended to hear about the system from the in-demand German Master Ceramist.
"All who attended were very impressed with what the Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System could offer them in a commercial arena for all their ceramic needs and also what leading ceramic furnace technology can offer.
"The stand out comments came from participants regarding the patented Authentic Pulse InterFace press technique. Many could not believe the final result just from a pressed ceramic. Many said you could not tell if it was layered or just pressed!
"Argibond wishes to thank John Mackay of Griffith University, Queensland; Rob Dulieu of RWD Dental Image, Sydney; Kevin and Sabine of Codentech and VIVA Ceramics Dental, Auckland; for use of their training facilities; Herr Joachim Weber for his unequalled course presentation skills and especially all the attendants who helpled make the official launch of the new Authentic Pulse - Total Ceramic System a truly successful event."
