Protec delighted with East Coast Targa event

Protec Dental Technologies' Tony Tomevski has entertained one of his dreams and entered the East Coast Targa late last year, at the same time flying the flag for the laser supplier.

"The East Coast Targa is the only event that offers the Touring Category, a timed event making for a more spirited and competitive drive," Mr Tomevski said. "Myself and Peter Graham from A-dec piloted the Mazda RX8 through four days of non-stop fun and achieved our objective of coming home unscathed.

"This is a great event for anyone who would like to have a crack at motorsport for the first time. It's a CAMS sanctioned event and extremely well-organised and will grow in popularity due to its affordable entry fee in comparison to similar TARGA events.

"It was also great exposure for Protec. A lot of dentists out there love their cars, so it's also been a good talking point. We'll definitely be back for the next one."
