Amann Girrbach AG, a portfolio company in a fund advised by Capvis AG, is taking a further funda-mental step as innovative force in the dental industry. Since the introduction of the first, fully integrated CAD/CAM system for dental laboratories in 2009, Amann Girrbach has very successfully and continu-ously expanded this area. With the investment of the Berlin based capital investor Project A, a further decisive initiative in the direction of digital change has now been initiated, which will further strengthen the innovation leadership of Amann Girrbach.
"Amann Girrbach had already attracted our attention some time ago: on the one hand as a highly innovative and striving company in its sector. And on the other in terms of the people behind this achievement. As an investor and partner in digital transformation, we are pleased to support the company in this important phase," said Ben Fischer, General Partner of Project A.
On the part of Amann Girrbach, the forthcoming time of change is anticipated with great enthusiasm: "We are looking into an exciting future. The digital change has already begun. With Project A, we have an additional, highly professional investor and partner on board to provide us with all-round digital orientation and to enable us to successfully follow this path", says Wolfgang Reim, CEO of Amann Girrbach AG.
