Practice managers celebrate 20 years

The 1999 Practice Management Summit National Conference will be held in Melbourne from May 27 to May 29,1999.

The Australian Association of Practice Managers will be celebrating their 20th anniversary as an association and intend to make it one of the best practice management conferences ever. The theme is 'Managing The Future'. The conference will provide managers with ideas from experts in healthcare and other fields in heading towards the next century. There will be a wide range of workshops and topics for those new to practice management and those who are looking for additional skills and the latest trends. Practical workshops, forums and plenary sessions will be designed to cover latest influences in healthcare. Workshop sessions will specifically focus on issues not only relevant to specialist and GP practices but also the broader range of practices including: dental, radiology, physiotherapy, opthalmology and many others. The conference secretariat will arrange accommodation at the Hotel Sofitel and also at a variety of alternative hotels within easy access of the Hotel. An exhibition will be held in association with the conference featuring the latest in products, equipment and services for healthcare practices.
