Oral-B offers free fridge magnets

Oral-B has launched its new Professional Personalisation Programme that rewards practices that purchase manual toothbrushes in bulk with personalised fridge magnets to help in their marketing to patients.

"Every time a practice purchases selected quantities of our quality manual toothbrushes, we'll give you free fridge magnets or fridge magnets with writing pad sets, each personalised with your logo, name and contact details," said Simon Antoniou, Professional Relations Manager for P&G Professional Oral Health.

"We spent a great deal of time researching this project and believe we have come up with a very practical way to reward our loyal customers. Fridge magnets are a great marketing tool and serve as a constant reminder to patients of the contact details of the practice and the need for regular oral health maintenance."

Mr Antoniou said that as an example, if a practice were to purchase 180 brushes of one kind, they would receive 150 magnets with an attached note pad. If fridge magnets without pads are chosen, a higher quantity is received. The manual toothbrushes that qualify for the programme include the Pulsar; Cross Action; Advantage; Indicator; Stages; Braces; Sensitive; and Sulcus ranges. All manual brushes are packaged in packs of 6, except for Sensitive and Advantage 30 S, which come in packs of 12.

The fridge magnets are personalized with the practice's details including a logo. Oral-B's programme will even assist practices without a logo to develop a design (fees applicable); or there are several ready-made templates to choose from.

Oral-B has launched a new website at www.oralbclub.com in support of the programme. Practices can log in and enter their order, nominating to have it supplied by either Dentavision, Gunz Dental or Henry Schein Halas. As part of the ordering process, the logo can be uploaded through the website or supplied on a CD, or one of the ready made templates chosen.
