Curaden Swiss has reported strong interest in their Curasept® ADS chlorhexidine oral rinse that has been specially formulated to prevent staining. Curasept ADS has all the proven advantages of a chlorhexidine mouthwash with the added benefits of being sugar-free, alcohol-free and causing little or no brown discolouration of the teeth.
The patented Anti Discolouration System (ADS) has the ability to block the staining reaction created from the interaction of a positively charged antiseptic with the dietary micro-organisms that produce pigment.
In addition, its therapeutic and preventive benefits come without any unpleasant changes in taste perception making it an ideal and popular choice for patients.
Curaden's Curasept ADS delivers a strong, plaque-inhibiting action whilst simultaneously helping to prevent caries. It is ideal for use both before and after treatment, including endodontic, periodontic and implant procedures. Curasept ADS is supplied as a ready-to-use solution in three concentrations depending on the patient's individual requirements.
Curasept ADS 205 is formulated for daily use at a concentration of 0.05% chlorhexidine digluconate and has the added benefit of 0.05% sodium fluoride to enhance remineralisation and prevention.
Curasept ADS 212 is formulated for prolonged usage at a concentration of 0.12% chlorhexidine digluconate. It does not contain fluoride.
Curasept ADS 220 is formulated for short-term intensive use at a concentration of 0.20% chlorhexidine digluconate. It does not contain fluoride and is extremely effective in preventing post-operative complications when used as advised.
The Curasept ADS preparations come in 200ml and now 900ml bottles. The Curasept range includes ADS tubes of 0.5% gel and 0.12% toothpaste.
