NobleDentist website rated top website by internet authority

Dental Plans Marketing

Australia's fastest growing dental cover, NobleDentist, continues to lead the way, with the company's website officially rated as a 'Top 10 Most Visited Website' in the health industry and 'The Most Visited Website' in the dental industry by internet authority, Hitwise Australia.

The popular website, which includes a detailed list of participating dentists, patient education resources, and a blog is also currently rated the best ranked dental website on Google, Bing and Yahoo.

NobleDentist founder, Dion Kramer, said more than 30,000 people were visiting the site every month and that number is expected to increase to more than 45,000 in 2010 based on past trends.

"The internet has become a vital marketing tool and dentists that don't keep up with the latest trends risk losing existing patients and failing to attract new ones," Mr Kramer said.

"Australians are demonstrating an increased willingness to search online for services. In fact, Australians are now the third highest in terms of online expenditure.

"Many dentists go to great lengths to ensure they have the latest equipment but when it comes to marketing, they adopt outdated approaches as it is time consuming, costly and difficult to establish and maintain a strong online presence," he said.

Mr Kramer said NobleDentist offered dentists the opportunity to have an online presence by offering free listings on their website to all participating dentists.

"Our website saves dentists money, time, and stress as they don't have to pay for and maintain a website, and they receive new patients from the NobleDentist website," he said.

"Our team of designers and programmers work each day to ensure it retains its highly coveted status. NobleDentist is also planning to launch a new look website in the near future," he said.

"NobleDentist is an online company so it has done away with many of the expenses of a traditional company. This allows us to keep our membership fees for patients much lower than insurance and attracts more members, who will then visit our website to find a participating dentist."

The NobleDentist concept is based upon highly successful US dental plans, which have been established for several decades and have over 100 million members. As NobleDentist is not insurance, members pay a low annual fee and are not restricted by waiting periods, annual limits and treatment exclusions.

"The NobleDentist process is uncomplicated. Members receive reduced fees and participating dentists receive their full payment immediately after each appointment in accordance with the NobleDentist Fee Schedule," Mr Kramer said.

"Despite the absence of any mainstream advertising and reliance on simply a strong online presence plus word-of-mouth, Noble- Dentist membership quadrupled in 2009 and is expected to quadruple again in 2010.

"These figures highlight the reliance that consumers now have upon the internet and the long overdue need for a quality dental plan in Australia which offers reduced dental fees to patients and increased patient numbers to dentists," Mr Kramer said.

According to Mr Kramer, when establishing NobleDentist he realised that increasing broadband availability and the increased reliance on mobile internet meant the internet would be the most effective marketing method.

"It's not just young people that turn to the internet to find a dentist. According to the Nielsen Company, nearly 18 million Australians use the internet," he said.

"The demand we are experiencing for NobleDentist is testimony to the need for a quality dental plan in Australia and the importance of a significant online presence. I'm confident the dental plan concept will become as highly regarded in Australia as in the United States and United Kingdom," Mr Kramer said.

To meet demand, NobleDentist is currently accepting applications from dentists wishing to become participating dentists. There is no cost to become and remain a participant of NobleDentist, and selected dentists will secure the opportunity to exclusively service their area.

"We welcome applications from quality and ethical dentists that would like to retain and attract more patients. We also look forward to working together to improve oral health in Australia," he said.
