Nobel Biocare has reinforced its commitment to Australian dentists with the opening of a new training centre in Sydney. The 300 square metre facility is located on level two of the same building as the company's headquarters in Chatswood.
"We are continually delivering education programmes to our many clients so it made sense to establish a dedicated facility for this purpose," said Kishore Pranjivan, Managing Director of Nobel Biocare Australia. "The new centre is designed to be able to accommodate the majority of the courses we run."
The Centre can comfortably accommodate 80 people in theatre-style seating or and 35-40 in classroom format. There is also space for relaxing on breaks and full kitchen facilities that can be used by caterers.
Mr Pranjivan said that the venue is suitable for any style of programme short of hands-on clinical demonstrations.
"We are also keen for others to make use of the facilities when we are not using them and we make them available to dental societies, study clubs and generally any dental organization who do not compete with Nobel Biocare.
"It is a state-of-the-art facility with audio visual capabilities and we want it to be used as much as possible," Mr Pranjivan. "At this stage, we intend to make it available for other organisations more as a service to the dental community and in most cases we won't solicit a hire charge."
