New W&H Assistina 3 x 3 cleans inside and out... guaranteed!

New Products

The new W&H Assistina 3x3 fully automatic handpiece cleaning and maintenance unit is the first to offer a validated three-step process of internal and external cleaning and lubrication of turbines and straight and contra-angle handpieces, air motors and air-driven scalers.

With just one press of a button, the fully automatic Assistina 3x3 takes over the time-consuming manual process of preparing up to three instruments for sterilisation, saving time and money. The steps are as follows:

  1. Automatic internal cleaning of spray channels and transmission parts with W&H ActiveFluid and compressed air, ensuring spray channels and gearing components are thoroughly cleaned.
  2. Automatic external cleaning of the instrument with W&H ActiveFluid.
  3. Lubrication of the transmission parts with a measured amount of W&H F1 service oil, to extend the service life of precision dental instruments.

The cleaning process of approximately six minutes conforms with the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute and Swissmedic, ensuring all instruments are thoroughly maintained.

Automatic internal cleaning

During internal cleaning, the spray channels and gearing of the instruments are cleaned with the special W&H Activefluid cleaning solution. Spray channels and gearing are blow-dried to remove any of the residue of cleaner. The thorough cleaning ensures that instruments operate correctly throughout their service lives.

Automatic external cleaning

W&H Activefluid cleaning solution is sprayed directly onto all instruments one by one. After allowing the cleaning solution to work for a short time, the instruments are blow-dried before the precise and automatic lubrication of the gearing components. Removing organic deposits ensures the safety of patient and practitioner.

Perfect instrument lubrication

The precise lubrication of all gearing components with W&H Service Oil F1 extends the service life of instruments. Service costs are also reduced. The automatic oil feed supplies exactly as much oil as is required for optimal lubrication of the instrument. W&H Service Oil F1 is a product of W&H research and guarantees optimal maintenance for all W&H instruments.

Maintenance in record time

One to three instruments can be cleaned and maintained per cycle. The short cleaning process of approximately six minutes reduces the total conventional preparation time for instruments. The operation of the Assistina is intuitive; preparation starts at the press of a button. Training is not necessary.

Integrated process monitoring

The system monitors the quantities of cleaning agent and oil and also the process air and ensures to a predefined extent that this procedure always delivers a consistent result, which fulfills the specifications and quality features predetermined by W&H.

Using the Assistina 3x3 in conjunction with the Lisa Fully Automatic autoclave, instruments are thoroughly cleaned, maintained and sterilised ready for use again in just 20 minutes!
