New SurgiTel micro loupes

Surgitel has expanded its range to include Micro Galilean loupes in magnifications of 2.5x and 3.0x in and Micro Prism in 3.0x and 3.5x. In addition, SurgiTel's existing range of Compact loupes now covers magnifications of 4.5x, 5.5x, 6.5x and 8.0x.

"Depending on which brand you are comparing them with, Surgitel now offers loupes that are from 70% to 200% lighter than traditional loupes and thus provide comfortable all-day magnification," said Alan Slack, Magnification Product Manager at Inline Medical & Dental, distributors of Surgitel.

"Given that weight is one of the most critical factors when considering purchasing new loupes, the improvements incorporated in these designs make SurgiTel's Micro and Compact series the lightest full featured loupes currently available.

Mr Slack said that SurgiTel's Micro LED headlight (for 2.5x, 3.0x and 3.5x magnifications) and the Mini High Intensity LED (for magnifications of 4.5x and above) are the lightest and smallest headlight systems ever to be offered.

SurgiTels' patent pending beam forming optics provide the user with a beam which is very uniform and exhibits no colour change over the range of the depth of field of the loupes.

Both the Micro and Mini HI LED headlights incorporate advanced technology for outstanding ergonomics, battery life, optics and a safe LED frequency range.
