Successful young Brisbane dentist Dr Jeffrey Kho is organising a series of Practice Start Up Symposiums starting in July to share his experiences in setting up dental practices.
"These events are not just another practice management seminar," Dr Kho said. "They are a Practice Start-Up Symposium, which have never been done before in Australia. Throughout the power-packed day, all the questions you have about practice start up will be answered."
Dr Kho said the event will debunk the usual myths about practice start-up and offer clarity and advice to potential practice owners. It will also connect dentists with help to make the transition from associate dentist to practice owner easier.
"This event will also provide you with the knowledge and tips every dentist was told they should know, but were never told how. That includes effectively communicating to build rapport and relationships. You will participate in a unique, 'voice-on' experience where you will be personally guided on how to build rapport and create relationships to make your patients love you," he said.
"You will be motivated, inspired, and supercharged to achieve a better dental practice, be a better dental professional and a better YOU."
The Symposiums are designed for dentists and prosthetists interested in starting up a practice and anyone who wants to be a better dental professional.
"The most important thing throughout the process of setting up a practice is to begin with the end in mind. But if you don't know what your end looks like, then surround yourself with people who can help. Many dentists want to be an owner, want to start up a practice of their own but most are afraid to make the break."
Dr Kho has co-founded two successful dental clinics in Brisbane, employing four dentists and numerous staff members. He is a leading provider of Mini Dental Implants and lectures on their use. His interests lie in cosmetic, orthodontic and implant dentistry, but he is most passionate about creating patients who love you.
