New local boss for Dentsply

Dr Markus Boehringer has been appointed as the new Vice President and General Manager for Dentsply in Australia in New Zealand.

Prior to his appointment to lead the local operations of the world's largest dental manufacturer, Dr Boehringer was director of marketing and sales for Dentsply VDW. This Dentsply division specialises in the development and sales of endodontic products and is based in Munich, Germany. In this role, Dr Boehringer also had additional responsibilities for Research and Development and he contributed significantly to the ongoing success of this organisation, with award winning marketing campaigns, new product developments and a strong sales record. Prior to joining Dentsply, he worked for pharmaceutical companies Pfizer and Smithkline Beecham in both Sales and Marketing Management roles.
