New Lab Business Manager at Henry Schein

Henry Schein Halas has appointed Mr Ross Phillips as its new Laboratory Business Manager for Australia and New Zealand based at their head office in Waterloo in Sydney.

Mr Phillips started his dental career working for a Computerised Practice Management system supplier in the United Kingdom. He then moved into the dental implant business as a Territory Manager for Nobel Biocare, setting up operations in Scotland for the company before subsequently migrating to Australia whilst still in their employ. During the past two years, Mr Phillips has worked for core3dcentres as a business development Manager assisting them to become a market leader in intraoral scanning using the iTero platform and laboratory CAD/CAM solutions. According to Mr Phillips, his passion for management and the laboratory industry meant the role at Henry Schein Halas could not be passed up. "I'm looking forward to helping laboratories across Australia maximise their buying power whilst minimising costs and ensuring they always have a positive experience. I’m also well placed to introduce them to exciting new Henry Schein Halas products in both the traditional product range and the new digital CAD/CAM space". Mr Phillips brings a wealth of management, technical and information technology expertise to the role and will directly manage a team of seven dedicated laboratory territory managers and two product specialists.
