New distributors for EMS

Swiss dental equipment manufacturer, EMS - Electro Medical Systems - has appointed both Henry Schein Halas and Medident as its new distributors following the end of a 17-year relationship with A-dec Australia.

"We enjoyed a long and rewarding relationship with A-dec Australia that has seen the EMS product range become a household name," said Nathan Giess, EMS Dental Sales Manager for Australia and New Zealand. "We were sad to hear that A-dec Australia had decided that they could no longer give 100% support to our full product range and asked us to look for alternate distribution."

EMS are renowned for their range of products that includes air abrasion systems, air polishers, curing lights, piezo-surgery units, ultrasonic scalers, endo motors, apex locators and more.

Mr Geiss, who trained as an oral health therapist, worked for the past two years as the Product Manager for EMS at A-dec.
