Dentsply has unveiled its new Dentsply Service Centre (DSC), the next chapter in the company's commitment to customer support.
Officially opened on September 1, the DSC is now available to provide equipment installation, maintenance, servicing and repairs for all Australian practices and laboratories. Located at the Australian headquarters in the Melbourne suburb of Mt Waverley, the DSC is another component in Dentsply's client support philosophy.
"Customer service is not limited to the provision of great products," said Dr Markus Boehringer, General Manager and Vice President. "We understand that having equipment properly installed, serviced and repaired is critical to the smooth operation of a dental clinic. That's why we are extending company operations to support the industry with the best possible service."
The DSC comprises two full-time, accredited service technicians committed to making sure all customer service issues are handled promptly, efficiently and repaired to factory specifications. Both are factory trained and qualified to perform equipment maintenance, servicing and repairs to equipment and instruments and not only limited to those originally purchased from Dentsply.
Repairs are delivered with a 12-month warranty on parts and three-month warranty on labour. Loan units are available during repairs to minimise disruption.
"What makes our service centre great is that it completes the Dentsply ownership of products. The great products we sell are made by Dentsply, delivered by Dentsply, and supported by Dentsply," Dr Boehringer said. "Service staff are qualified, knowledgeable and excellent at what they do. There is no doubt our Centre is first rate and I know customers will agree."
All servicing takes place on site to avoid shipping delays, and all major parts are kept in stock.
