New A-dec equipment for WA

A-dec has appointed Dental Intelligence as an authorized A-dec dealer for Western Australia. Proprietors of the new venture, Bill and Ingrid Elsegood, are well known in the west, having operated a successful surgery design and construction company Dentpro in Perth for the past 25 years.

Dental Intelligence has established a spectacular new equipment showroom at 10 Thelma Street, West Perth, where all models of A-dec dental units, W&H sterilization equipment and handpieces, Acteon and Sopro digital imaging equipment and Cattani compressors are on display.

In combination, Dentpro and Dental Intelligence can provide a complete service to dentists from building and interior design, negotiating council approvals, building works, internal fit-outs and renovations and now the supply of quality A-dec equipment.

Mr Elsegood said Dental Intelligence was established to provide a true "one-stop shop" for dentists setting up a new surgery or remodeling and updating their existing surgeries.

"Dentists are time poor, so now they can deal with just one company to have all their requirements met from 'whoa-to-go' with minimal downtime and also have ongoing support with their equipment servicing requirements."

Mr Elsegood said the addition of A-dec equipment was a perfect complement to Dentpro.

"Quality is evident in every job we do and we wanted to have a quality product in our fit-outs. The arrangement with A-dec is a good fit for what we're all about and A-dec equipment has been used in many of our fit-outs over the years."

Mr Elsegood said the decision to go with A-dec was an easy one, as most dentists preferred A-dec equipment for its reliability and quality.

"Dentists here like A-dec because it doesn't break down. That is very important as once you get outside of Perth, it can be very expensive to get a technician, so the choice of A-dec is great peace of mind for them."

To ensure good support to dentists, Dental Intelligence has also employed one of the state's most highly qualified and experienced dental technicians, Stewart Redman, and has also appointed a new administration support and sales representative, Alyce Kay.

The company also has a team of experienced architects, designers, draftsmen, interior designers, cabinet makers and builders who have had more than 20 years experience in dental and medical fit-outs in WA.
