Dental implant manufacturer Neoss has signed a joint marketing and distribution agreement with KaVo Dental Systems that will see Neoss dental implants combined with high definition crowns produced by KaVo's Everest CAD/CAM system.
"Our agreement with KaVo is a watershed moment in the growth of Neoss," said John Divitini, managing director of Neoss in Australia. "The 'Neoss for KaVo' implant solution will enable customers to use the KaVo Everest CAD/CAM system to manufacture implant prosthetic solutions in ceramics and titanium using Neoss components to the specifications, quality and precision of the Neoss Implant system."
Everest is one of the world's leading CAD/CAM systems for dental laboratories. KaVo is also a major contributor to development in the field of computer-aided design and manufacturing technology for dental applications. KaVo's innovative Everest technology can be used to fabricate individualized crown copings and multi-unit bridges from a wide range of materials.
"Neoss is an ideal partner for the KaVo Everest system: high precision, broad and intuitive functionality, flexibility, and coverage of all or most dental challenges for technicians is the strategic direction of Everest," said Michael Eidenschink, Business Unit Director for KaVo's High Tech division. "With Neoss, we are not bound to only one implant system but leave our customers, the dental labs, the choice to work with the system of their preference. We are very excited about our alliance with Neoss and are looking forward to bringing to the market a fully integrated and easy-to-use abutment system based on the Neoss link soon."
The 'Neoss for KaVo' collaboration will enable dental technicians to use the KaVo Everest scanner and milling system to manufacture implant prosthetic solutions in ceramics and titanium using Neoss components to the specifications, quality and precision of the Neoss Dental Implant System.
