Myofunctional Research a winner

Myofunctional Research Co Pty Ltd, the Queensland-based manufacturer of prefabricated orthodontic appliances sold globally, has received a 2005 Gold Coast Business Excellence Award, winning the Mayor's Innovation Award category for the region's best innovators.

"The Myofunctional Research Company originated in 1989, with the purpose of developing modern and effective orthodontic treatment methods and to produce products to aid the dental development of growing children," said managing director Dr Chris Farrell.

"Since 1991 our innovative dental aids have been introduced to Australia and New Zealand via the dental and medical professions and are now being used in more than 65 countries throughout Europe, America and Asia."
