Mike Stone Appointed as Managing Director, Dentsply Sirona Australia and New Zealand

Dentsply Sirona has appointed Mike Stone as their new Managing Director for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ), effective mid April 2016.

He will be primarily responsible for beginning the evolution of bringing together two successful businesses and the Dentsply Sirona portfolio into one combined entity.

We are the market leaders in Endodontics, Equipment and CAD/CAM and have a strong market share in Implants and Specialty Health”, says Mike Stone. With separate branches across various regions in Australia and New Zealand, Dentsply Sirona ANZ is taking a phased approach in combining locations. “Through combining our strengths, we empower our branches to serve our local markets best by offering a complementary product portfolio, extensive training, education and solid customer service.”

Prior to this appointment, Mike Stone successfully led Sirona Dental Systems Pty Ltd. as Managing Director of Australia/New Zealand since May, 2012. From 2006 to May, 2012, Mike served as President of Schick Technologies Inc. and also Executive Vice President of Schick Technologies, Inc. where he was responsible for running sales and marketing after joining the company in January 2000. Prior to this, Mike held various senior management roles at Welch Allyn Dental Systems and Olympus Endoscope Company. Mike serves on the Executive Advisory Committee at the William E. Simon Graduate School of Business at the University of Rochester and spent five years as a Board Trustee at the American Association of Endodontists Foundation.
