Michel Orsinger reaffirms commitment to Nobel Biocare but will stand for election as regular Board member only

Michel Orsinger has reaffirmed his commitment to Nobel Biocare through his intention to stand for election to the Board at the company's annual general meeting on 29 March 2012.

However, due to other upcoming professional commitments, Mr Orsinger has decided if he is elected to Nobel Biocare's Board, to focus on various specific areas where he can add value, including leading the company's Innovation and Technology Committee, rather than on heading the Board. Pending a successful re-election to the Board by the shareholders, the Board intends to appoint the current Chairman ad interim, Rolf Watter, as Chairman of the Board of Nobel Biocare.
