Mark Slater clocks up 40 years in the dental industry

Industry stalwart, Mark Slater, has been recognised for 40 years of service to the dental profession at the recent ADIA Queensland Dental Show dinner.

Mr Slater has a long and distinguished career where he began as an equipment technician and later the product/equipment manager for the then Martin Halas Dental business in the late 1970's and 80's. Mr Slater also held a senior role at A-dec Australia, serving as technical manager for a number of years at the company's head office at Mascot in Sydney. During his long career, Mr Slater has for a time operated a dental equipment business in partnership with Ross Jones in Brisbane, prior to a stint at West Coast Dental Depot in Perth. In 2015 Mr Slater returned as an equipment specialist to the since revamped RJ Dental business, now owned by Chris and Sally Green in Brisbane.
