Levitch appoints Healthcare specialist

Levitch Design Associates (LDA), one of Australia's leading dental surgery design practices, has promoted Mr Antony Poate to the new role of Senior Project Designer for Healthcare.

According to the company, since joining LDA two years ago as an interior designer, Mr Poate has gained considerable experience in the specialised area of healthcare. "Antony's successes in this field not only ensured he was the perfect candidate for the new role," said Ms Anne Levitch, "but has also contributed to the significant positive growth LDA has enjoyed in recent years." While maintaining an emphasis on dental surgery design, LDA also accepts commissions for interior design and architectural projects in a number of other areas including residential, commercial and retail. According to Ms Levitch, in terms of healthcare, Mr Poate is currently overseeing $2.5 million of projects and now has a team of three interior designers working with him. With over 16 years experience, Mr Poate has an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the design, documentation and construction process. He has worked with high-profile firms such as The Rice Daubney Group and Inscan Design on a broad range of projects including commissions for Microsoft and Toohey's Australia. His formal qualifications include a Diploma in Interior Design, a Certificate IV in Building Studies and a Diploma in Graphic Design.
