Learn 'Care fo Perfect Occlusion' in 10 languages

Dr. Jean Bausch KG, makers of the Bausch Articulating and Occlusion Test materials, are helping dental professionals to acquire a comprehensive understanding of their products for appropriate clinical applications. They have developed a Multimedia CD-ROM that illustrates clinical instructions and material data to facilitate clinician confidence.

The professional education programme runs on a QuickTime Player on a PC with Windows 98 to Windows XP and also on Macintosh OS 9 or OS X systems. The user can choose from 10 different languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Chinese and Arabic. An automatic presentation will take you through an introduction to the Bausch Company and the material specifications of each product complimented with illustrations of their respective use. It has also been designed to allow you to select a specific topic, product or procedure from the menu for a direct approach to the pertinent section of the presentation. The presentation is narrated in a clear, comfortable dialogue with a choice of toggles for jumping forward, repeating or ending the presentation. Bausch is the world's leading manufacturer in this domain because they understand that the correct physiological recovery of the occlusion poses as much a challenge as ever for every clinician and technician. Occlusal proportions are being constantly changed with every procedure: even the smallest high spots measuring just a few microns can cause dysfunctions, like TMD, in patients.

Dentists Dr Jean Bausch and his son Dr Hans Bausch founded the Bausch Company in 1953 with the understanding that synergy of the teeth in static and dynamic occlusion forms the basis of good dentistry. They recognised the need to use various colours of pressure-sensitive articulating paper in order to reveal all the different masticatory forces. The principle of progressive colour transfer remains an important method for the accurate detection of high spots.

Bausch Articulating Papers (Australasia) offers an extensive range of articulating papers and test films in different shapes, sizes and colours. All Bausch products are manufactured in strict compliance with the European Medical Products Decree and constantly monitored by the Quality Assurance department. The raw materials used are physiologically safe and comply with stringent cosmetic, food and pharmacological standards.
